“IET---Founder University President Awards, 2008” ,sponsored by IET Educational Foundation and Founder Group, was announced in Beijing on March 28. The winners of this award are Professor Zhenhui Tan, previous President of Beijing Jiaotong University, Professor Zhunmin Chen, President of University of International Business and Economics, Professor Jianping Liu, Chairman of Tianjin University Administrative Council Professor Laibin Zhang, President of China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and Professor Bing YAN, Vice President of China Central Radio and TV University. Seven other university administrators got the Nomination for the University President Awards.
Managers responsible for university affairs from IET, Prof. Wang Fun-Dan, honorary chairman and executive director of IET Educational Foundation and Mr. Wei Xin, chairman of Founder Group were present at the award ceremony.
